The who, what, where and when

What to expect on the day

On arrival at the venue you'll be presented with your own dramming glass to use throughout the day. Make your way on to the main hall floor, approach an exhibitor and ask nicely for a dram - it's as simple as that! You might want to ask a few questions and have a chat them and maybe your fellow festival-goers while you're there. All around the hall you will find plenty of water stations for refreshing your glass and palatte.

There will be food on offer from local producers - so don't forget to have a bite between drams. We will also have a nosing table in the main hall - the entrant whos answer card most closely matches the drams in the glasses will take home a great bottle of malt!

We are offering subsidised UK & worldwide shipping from our Fèis shop within the venue, so no need to be stuck carrying bottles around with you when the shows over.

The Manager's Masterclass

An exceptional opportunity to sample a range of rare and old Oban whiskies. Including single cask, cask strength and "staff only" bottlings, whiskies dating back to the 1960s, and even one straight from the cask! This exclusive event will be hosted at Oban Distillery by Distillery Manager Callum Rew, and our festivals very own, James Galbraith.

Spaces are strictly limited, so we advise booking early to avoid missing out!

Who we are

The Fèis organisers are two locals and old friends, Euan and James, from the Oban Whisky & Fine Wines shop. The pair, both passionate about whisky, wanted to create an event that showcases the West Coast at it's finest. Where folk who are new to whisky, as well as the hardened whisky nuts, can hopefully come and have a blether, learn (or try) something new, and have a grand day out.
